KOR Training Solutions LLC was founded on the belief that firearms and tactical training should prepare people for reality—not just theatrics on a flat range. We built this company to close the gap between static qualification-style shooting and the kind of performance that is actually required when stress, movement, time, and decision-making are all in play. From the beginning, the goal has been simple: deliver training that is practical, performance-driven, and rooted in hard skills that hold up when accountability matters.
Our courses are built for civilians, law enforcement, and military personnel who want more than marksmanship in isolation. We emphasize dynamic application, problem-solving, movement, and measurable standards so students are not just firing rounds, but developing the judgment, efficiency, and confidence to perform under pressure. Every course is designed with intent, every repetition has a purpose, and every block of instruction is meant to build capable shooters who can think clearly, act decisively, and execute with when it matters most.
At KOR, we exist to provide serious training for people who take responsibility seriously. That means creating an environment where performance is tested, weaknesses are exposed, and progress is earned through focused work. kevin jones
Founder and Lead InstructorÂ
Kevin Jones is the Founder/ Lead instructor with KOR Training Solutions. His background combines Army Special Operations experience, and an ongoing commitment to performance-based shooting. He served 9 years with 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, completing multiple deployments to the Middle East, where he developed a deep understanding of how marksmanship, decision-making, and tactical problem-solving intersect in real-world environments.
Since 2019, Kevin has trained more than 350 military personnel and law enforcement officers in small arms marksmanship and small unit tactics. His instruction is shaped by both operational experience and continued exposure to high-level shooters across the civilian, law enforcement, and military communities. That broader perspective allows him to teach skills not just as isolated mechanics, but as tools that must hold up under pressure and within context.
As an active competitor in USPSA, where he competes in A-Class Carry Optics, and in PCSL, Kevin continues to test and refine his own performance in demanding environments. He believes that credible instruction requires continual growth, and he remains committed to his own training and development in order to better serve his students. His experience in building, resourcing, and facilitating training programs further supports his ability to deliver instruction that is structured, intentional, and process-driven.

Josh brings a rare blend of real-world experience and high-level performance shooting to KOR Training Solutions. With prior service in the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, time in high-threat environments as a contractor in Afghanistan, and experience as a Police Officer, he understands the realities of carrying a gun for a living.
More importantly for his students, he's a proven performer in the Practical Shooting world: he is a USPSA PCC Grandmaster, Carry Optics Master, and 2025 Louisianna PCC State Champion. His focus is helping shooters build a clear, repeatable path to improvement by combining disciplined fundamentals with the technical speed and precision of top-tier competition.
